Certification
Being a Certified Travel Coach is about helping people set a meaning or a desired outcome of their trip. This meaning or desired outcome is so different for so many people. What you desire from a trip could be vastly different from other members of your family.
During the travel coach multistep process, we dive deep into your reason for traveling, your travel history, and the things you hope to achieve during your trip. Once we see a clear direction, we discuss a wide variety of needs, and ultimately point you in the right direction for a mindful journey.

A Certified Travel Coach will walk clients through a vast array of their travel needs. Coaches help carve a path that brings calm to the travel planning process. Understanding why you are traveling is just as important as deciding where to travel to.

Heather Durant is the founder of Durant Destinations LLC, a Travel Service Company created to redesign
your travel.
Heather has worked exclusively in the Hospitality Operations Industry for over 40 years. She currently
sits on the Advisory Board of Accelerate Women Leaders in Travel Organization. is a certified Travel Coach through the Travel Coach Network, an ARDA RRP member.
Working with National Brands and Independent Boutique Operators has brought her a unique perspective on why people travel, and how to get the most out of the travel they choose. Heather has participated in National Travel and Vacation Leadership Conferences giving her a personal connection to build travel from.
While working in the Hospitality Industry for her entire career, she has worked with thousands of families, helping to map the best strategy for a mindful and purpose-built vacation. It’s where her vision of Durant Destinations was created. Her motto “Vacations either start with a book or a bungee cord and I’ll help you figure out which to pack!” sets the tone for relationship building.

Focusing on Multi-generational travel and Caribbean Cruising, Durant Destination offers clients a deeper dive into the reasoning for traveling, locations that best suit client’s needs, and itinerary building for multiple generations traveling together.
